De la construction d'une base circulaire en bois de chêne et douglas recyclé et de la mise en place des six fers anciens détournés comme socles et des deux arceaux qui vont donner forme et servir de support à la structure mais également au filet.
Le tissage de filet de cordes à la technique Voronoi permet un rendu organique et une tension progressive qui va bien enserrer la structure en équilibrant la force exercée sur les six poteaux.
Le bambou utilisé ici se trouve sous forme de lamelles. En effet après avoir été coupé et nettoyé, il a été débité en lamelles à l'aide d'un fendoir à bambou. Après cela il est raboté, poncé et gardé à sécher.
Les lamelles vont permettre une flexibilité importante et elles seront ici tressées telle une vannerie géante. Pour commencer les verticales ont été placées au niveau des arceaux, pour s'évaser et jointes au sommet.
Le choix du motif de vannerie a été choisi parmi tant de possibles, de même le mouvement du "ruban" cherchant à créer un sentiment d'enveloppement.
The construction of a circular base in recycled oak and douglas fir wood and the installation of six old irons diverted as bases and the two hoops which will allow the flaring of the structure and support the net.
The weaving of rope net using the Voronoi technique allows for an organic rendering and a progressive tension which will tightly enclose the structure by balancing the force exerted on the six posts.
The bamboo used here is in the form of strips. In fact, after being cut and cleaned, it was cut into strips using a bamboo splitter. After that it is planed, sanded and kept to dry.
The slats will allow significant flexibility and they will be woven here like a giant basket weave. To start, the verticals were placed at the level of the hoops, then joined at the top.

Une fois le corps obtenu, ses ouvertures et derniers détails terminés, au tour de l'envelopper.
De bas en haut, couche après couches les gerbes de pailles de seigles sont plaquées contre la structure à l'aide de tiges métalliques et de fils de fer. On obtient ainsi une enveloppe de chaume d'environ 35cm, étanche et isolante et au grand confort intérieur.
C'est bien ce potentiel dans les modes constructifs alliant fibres végétales qui sont bambou et paille que je cherche ici à mettre en avant.

Puis un autre dernier matériau (en cours de collecte) vient prendre place à l'intérieur du cocon : la laine de mouton pour un matelas rond créé sur mesure.

De Henri Fournier à Mme Boureuil pour leur gentillesse et leur don des bambous tirés de cette magnifique bambouseraie au cœur du village voisin au moulin.
De la famille Rodot de Saône-et-Loire qui produisent la paille de seigle et qui nous racontent cette histoire d'une semence et d'un savoir-faire qui perdure discrètement.
Qu'il est un des derniers à produire cette paille aux brins longs de qualité nécessaires à la chaume et que l'on vient des quatre coins d'Europe pour se fournir chez lui.
De Lala de Château-Landon qui connait tout le processus de travail de la laine de mouton jusqu'au tissage et partage ses connaissances.
